Winter Trails Day

Lace up your boots, grab your snowshoes or microspikes, and get ready for the 20th annual Winter Trails Day!
The Green Mountain Club is teaming up with CCOutdoorStore.com to offer nine FREE guided hikes on a variety of trails in and around Waterbury, including two ideal for families. The festival is part of Waterbury Winterfest, an annual event celebrating outdoor winter recreation.
Come take part in the hikes, enjoy snacks and warm drinks, or sign up for the awesome raffle for the chance to win gear, gift certificates, and local food.
GMC and CC Outdoor Store representatives will be on-site to help you with gear and hiking questions.
This year’s event will be based from CC Outdoor Store on Route 2 in Waterbury and all hikes will meet at and leave from the store from 9:00am-1:00pm.
Camel’s Hump via Monroe Trail – Difficult

Burnt Rock via Hedgehog Brook Trail – Difficult
Stimson Mountain, the Long Trail relocation north of the new Winooski River Footbridge – Moderate
