The Stowe Pinnacle is a classic hike in Summer or Fall. Whether a local looking for a workout for the dog or a visitor looking for stunning view of Mansfield’s ridgeline, the Pinnacle has something for you.
The Pinnacle is East of the village on the Worcester Range opposing Mansfield, all this establishes one of the most photogenic vistas in the area.
Take Stowe Hollow Rd. out of the village onto Upper Hollow Rd. Go past Pinnacle Rd. and the parking area is on your left.
A short steep peak and the Pinnacle’s noticeable profile, makes for a steeper hike. Fortunately the 1.4 mile length helps to accommodate the grade.
Once you make the summit it opens up stunning views down to Camel’s Hump up to the Sterling Mountain range.
