Mostly referred to as Cadys Falls, this swimming hole is secluded away from the actual falls of the Lamoille River. Terrill Gorge has something for everyone and is a favorite here at Stowe Local.
It is once again time for GMTCC’s Business Administration class to hold their annual 5K charity race! This year, the new group of students decided to organize a brand new race, The Doughnut Dash 5K!
The race will take place on November 7th, 2015 at Green Mountain Technology and Career Center (Lamoille Union High School) at 10:00 a.m. This is a student driven race and all the proceeds go to the March of Dimes Vermont Chapter and to help cover the costs of sending GMTCC students to the FBLA’s Annual Spring Leadership Conference.
Runners will be challenged to consume a total of four doughnuts and a two small glasses of warm hot chocolate throughout the 3.1 mile course. If you successfully complete the eating challenge at each checkpoint, you will be entered into a drawing for prizes at the end of the race! If you cannot finish the doughnuts or hot chocolate, no need to worry, simply enjoy the run and supporting a great cause! At the conclusion of the race, extra doughnuts and hot chocolate will be served while we raffle off some great prizes!
